I would like to share with all of you something we all fought hard for....the very first
PT IMPRESSIONS
presented by CHRYSLER QUARTERLY.
OK...here is my heartfelt request.... to offer this ezine online for free I have to have sponsors and of course having Chrysler continue to endorse us is paramount to our continued success.
When you go to the site Chrysler Quarterly, you will see a thumbnail of the magazine....
click on the magazine it will load and soon become screen size.
When you go to any of the ads there is a highlighted area where their URL's are (their web sites)...
Chrysler is counting every person who clicks on their ads (there is a 2 page ad in the beginning and the last page another ad)....
if you would be so kind as to CLICK on their web site listed on their ad... (just go to the highlighted area)...
Every click is a vote that you want future issues of this magazine...
Right now we are told there is no more budget for us in 2008 but I have to believe that 100,000 clicks just might change their mind.
So if each of you would visit the Chrysler ads and make sure to CLICK on their web site....
you would be doing a lot to insure the future issues of PT IMPRESSIONS....
and if you would ask TEN people to check out the magazine and also click on Chrysler URL's in their ads (and if each of these ten would ask ten)...
we will be around a long long time (I hope!)
And don't forget our loyal sponsors who support the magazine with their ad dollars...
Without them there would be no magazine so please when you shop... think of them!
I am here to hear and tell your stories so don't hesitate to send them my way...
If you want to write a note directly to Chrysler telling them you like the magazine and asking them to continue to support it then you can send it to Chrysler and cc me at Barb Beach miatabb@aol.com
In 1999 Daimler-Chrysler presented the auto show concept car (lower left photo) which in 2000 became the PT Cruiser. Since its inception, through to the 2007 Pacific Coast Highway Dream Cruiser series,(lower right photo), the wonderfully unique PT has stirred up wistfulness and longing among a population readily drawn to its retro styling.
In words found in a September 23, 2006 article in the Dayton Daily News, (Return of the Throwbacks) "One of the more prominent retro designs is the omnipresent Chrysler PT Cruiser".
With its trademark stand-up grille similar to those found on cars of the 1930s, and the PT Cruiser's silhouette resembling that of a Woody or an old sedan delivery. Its retro touches extend to throwback door handles and the ivory knob atop the shifter.
Owner clubs soon started popping up all over the world, one of which is the Gem City PT Cruisers. With members throughout Ohio's Miami Valley, from Middletown to Piqua, GCPTC is one of several in Ohio and Indiana. If you are a PT Cruiser owner-enthusiast living in the Miami Valley we invite you to make our club your club.
Each year we take a number of cruises to interesting destinations, participate in Cruiser car shows, eats lots of food, enjoy the company of other owners, and serve our communities. Join with us for some Cruiser fun!
