Gem City PT Cruisers 5th. Anniversary Show and Shine May 23, 2009

It was a perfect day - sunny and hot; but delightful under the trees with a bit of a breeze.
Our Nineteen PT Cruisers outnumbered any other cars and was by far the most colorful group-
Meaning the cars and the people (see pictures below!).
The only thing that did not go perfectly was the Speedfest Trophy presentation.
At the February meeting, we asked John Dixon every question we could think of.
We didn't ask the right questions, evidently, as to exactly how this part of the program was supposed to go!
The Speedfest judges picked, and so did we pick, "People's Choice", so the good news is we have 2 winners:
Mike and Diane Pollard,(any one have a picture?), as well as Ed and Jennifer Utley.

• Extreme - Sharon (Diamond) Roberts
• Whole Car Display - Mary and Robie Keith

Congratulations to all the winners.
A Big Thank You to all PTer's for participating in our 5th Anniversary Show and Shine.
This was our first time being included in the Taj Kreuzers Speedfest event.

The dinner meeting at the Starlight Restaurant went without a hitch and we had a great turn out. Thanks to Ron Ungerer for the pictures. If anyone has any ideas for shows or cruises please contact us to post the details.
