June 11, 2010 A Day at the Races - Presque Isle Downs - Erie PA. In June there are a couple of club events coming up. On Friday, June 11th, we're going to go to Presque Isle Downs & Casino for "A Day at the Races". No, I'm not talking about the great Marx Brothers movie of the same name (although it's one of my favorites). We thought it would be fun and something different to do. There are several places to eat at the racetrack/casino, but we were planning on making reservations in the Clubhouse (alias, a room with a view!). The food is very good and they have everything from appetizers to sandwiches to entrees to the Triple Crown Buffet ($13.95). If you'd like to see their menu, please visit www.pidowns.com. You can establish residence at the table and then wander to your heart's content, returning to the table whenever you want to. We should have it all evening. June 12, 2010 SpeedFest 11-4 Carillon Park. Our founding event will be held at the historic Carillon Park. This low-key car show will feature notable cars of all types displayed in a unique setting.

June 25/26/27 SAT – Cruz The Falls USA – Academy Park – Lewiston NY We are pleased to report that there WILL be a Cruz The Falls USA this year - and that registration for it is now OPEN. Basic cost is $20 with no T-shirt and no meals. We will arrive in Canada on Wednesday, June 23, and we will be staying for FOUR nights. There are meal options and hotels listed on the site.
