Friday, July 4 - Independence Day Parade - Fairborn

PT Cruiser parade formation begins at 9:30 am at the Fairborn Plazza on North Broad Street.
The Parade begins at 10:00 am.
Everyone will have time to decorate their Cruisers and be in line for the start of the parade if they arrive no later then 9:30 am.

PLEASE..do not throw candy from your car.

If you insist on providing candy for the crowd, have your passenger walk along side and throw it.
If you don't have a passenger, then borrow one from someone who has an extra.
This is in no way meant to take away from what you call fun.
Small children do not realize the danger, and run toward our moving cars, for the candy.
In the past one of our members ran over a child's foot.
I have had to stop several times to wait for the street to clear because candy has been to close to our drive space.
Your cooperation will insure we are invited back.
This request also comes from the Fairborn Chief of Police, Captain Bennington.

After the parade we will form up and drive to the Studebakers, at 4195 Chalfonte Dr., in Beaver Creek, for another great "Burger Burn" fest.
We can spend the afternoon enjoying great food, games and camaraderie. No fishing poles, please.

Our hunger satisfied, we then will caravan to Beaver creek to participate in their parade.
We will form there around 4:00pm and re-decorate our cruisers.
Parade formation will be on Meadowbridge Dr., behind McDonalds. Parade will start at 5:00pm.
The same request on throwing candy goes for this parade as well.
Hope everyone enjoys a great 4th of July.

Hosted by the "Bob and Pat Riffles"
