UPDATE ON GRANDMA MARGIE

Margie went home from the rehab center on Sat. 5-29. She is doing great and is getting around using a walker. A few more months and she will be ready to have the other knee replacement done. I'm sure she would appreciate calls or visits and most of all good wishes from us all. 937-236-1958

About the Gem City Cruisers

In 1999 Daimler-Chrysler presented the auto show concept car (lower left photo) which in 2000 became the PT Cruiser. Since its inception, through to the 2009 PT Dream Cruiser Series 5,(lower right photo), the wonderfully unique PT has stirred up wistfulness and longing among a population readily drawn to its retro styling.

In words found in a September 23, 2006 article in the Dayton Daily News, (Return of the Throwbacks) "One of the more prominent retro designs is the omnipresent Chrysler PT Cruiser".

With its trademark stand-up grille similar to those found on cars of the 1930s, and the PT Cruiser's silhouette resembling that of a Woody or an old sedan delivery. Its retro touches extend to throwback door handles and the ivory knob atop the shifter.
